This second chance romance was hard to get through only because I related too much with the main character always making little mistakes at work and feeling that pressure to perform--too close to home lol! But great story! I admit I didn't care for the accent thing #booksky #blackbooksky #queerbook

Unfortunately, I DNF'd this one. For as petty a reason as the main character was annoying me 🫣I didn't care for his thought process or snap judgments. His characterization of the love interest doesn't fit the guy's actions either. On paper, I should have loved it but didn't. 💙📚 #booksky #mlmbook

My latest wlw book listen was born from a hoopla suggestion on a road trip. Couldn't resist the vampires and succubus. The story was filled with trauma and healing. Between all of it was a ton of well written spice 🥵 full of consent conscious bdsm. Absolute gem of a story!💙📚 #wlwbook #booksky

Finished these a while ago but I enjoyed more cozy wlw fantasy with Kianthe and Reyna! Love that while there are definitely still some world altering stakes it never feels too serious. That said, my cold heart wishes they'd been a bit more open to killing 😅 fixing the tags oop 💙📚 #booksky #wlwbook

Soooo maaaybe i jumped into this FWB to lovers cause I saw it was black and a wlw book and asked no questions. Loved it! Going in blind, I didn't realize it was a #2 until a couple chapters in and didn't realize how spicy it would be lol. I want more of these two! #booksky #blackbooksky #wlwbook

This book was much more fantasy and a lot less romance. I always enjoy a good dark 'topple the oppressive empire' story especially when magic is involved! Really enjoyed this take on privilege, revolution, and corruption! There's a wlw couple in the multicast. 💙📚 #booksky #wlwbook

I switched gears to a coming of age story! I yelled less at the main characters and more at one of the adults being an ass lol. Really sweet rivals to lovers. I was a little sad not to get to see a lot of the romantic relationship itself since its more 'build up to the big kiss' style. #booksky #wlw
