new platform needs new focus, so I will be trying to do weekly reviews of OKC city public meetings, mostly watching the YT videos. A reminder that all of the boards are mostly advisory, sometimes they have actual power but most just report to City Council.
Nobby had a hard time at the vet, annual checkup with shots and bloodwork, I haven't told him he's going back after the holidays unless we can collect urine at home(the vet admitted this is extremely unlikely). #Purrsday

funny how so many just assume he's old and doesn't know how. He's playing a part.
But I agree when games are on Peacock, ain't nobody got time for that
"I don’t even think it’s on real TV. I think it’s on streaming TV. And I’m not getting streaming just to watch this game" - Tony Kornheiser was not watching the NBA Cup Championship

OKC Council Mtg today 12-16-25, Mayor wasn't there and not much happened. Several items deferred and executive session (union contract time) took a lot of the session. People speak was a lot of people speaking on Classen bike lanes, pretty even split for and against

OKC Planning Commission 12-11-25 even bored Nobby, 4.5 hours of easily approving rural development, worrying about commercial development before approval, and arguing over signs (the development community has learned they can just agree to comply with the new sign code and avoid the PC).

Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

One Royal Holiday (2020) is another Hallmark staple, the ones with royals always are. She's a nurse with an excellent Honda SUV, he's a kinda needy prince with a down to earth mom and a hunky manservant. Stay to end because there's more than love, this is beyond coincidence.

Nobby asked me to post his Christmas look to get in that holiday mood #Purrsday

Making the Okc streetcar free is an excellent idea imo. (discussion 12-4-25 COTPA mtg on city of Okc YT channel) Although I worked for years promoting public transit for environmental benefits I didn't know details of operations and was surprised how little fares matter.

I love Christmas but I don't understand why a monopoly needs to advertise or sponsor events. No matter how much I dislike OG&E I buy their product.

flying is just like being at home except you think "wtf is wrong with people" a lot more.

Hallmark movies aren't factual, I just had a small hot chocolate w extra marshmallows and a small Christmas cookie: stuffed and sleepy

Nobby has grown to love this bed but sometimes he lays in and just stares at me. #Caturday

an excellent idea to have a trial period, hopefully it can be permanent. One of Embark's problems in my opinion is the fare structure is kinda complicated and enforcement efforts cost more than they gain

I despise the Progressive ads, they're a little patronizing and rude, but sometimes accurate. I just explained something to 2 young strangers in an elevator, in my defense they were so wrong it was criminal. Also Progressive, I do have my boarding pass on my phone but still use a paper one!

Christmas at the Catnip Cafe is a new Hallmark movie, got all the elements we love, and some of the little cameos I don't understand but are ok. Our hero is a veterinarian, owns half the Cafe and somehow is the only handyman in town. Our FMC is strangely cold and a little vague, if there's a sequel

I've supported the idea of Seattle getting an NBA team so they'll stop whining but now only if they play matinee games. This applies to Vegas too. #ThunderUp

watching the Thunder play while following the game on social media is fascinating. Pregame is so much wild optimism (81 wins?), then wild up and down swings during the game. Big sighs of relief when it's over

Okc City Council Mtg. today 11-2-25 Disappointed I didn't attend as planned, it was short even with a long executive session to discuss salaries. As expected the road closure passed easily. CP Cooper returned to his old bs about the city is too big, and mayor joined in with wishing he could remove

an anniversary #Caturday #CatsofBluesky with Nobby, 7 years ago my dog shopping trip to the shelter ended when this obnoxious brat somehow tricked me into bringing him home. Every day he makes me laugh, and I hope I make him happy too.

You, Me & the Christmas Trees is a 2021 Hallmark Movie. Danica McKellar plays a Christmas Tree expert, the trees turn brown right after cutting. It's complicated because she canceled her big Christmas Eve wedding(?), and her parents want her to mope around their house. It's got car wreck meet

these posts are sad, so many fans holding on to the past, limiting their replies so only their fellow bubble dwellers can reply in the echo chamber of faded glory. The future isn't in Houston or San Fran, it lives in OKC #ThunderUp
