Now, 8 people have lost their lives as a result of this flash flood. At least 6 are still missing, according to officials.

Death toll now up to eight after three more bodies were found in flood water, officials say
Friday, San Antonio Fire Department officials reported three more deaths have been confirmed at the location off Perrin Beitel and Austin Highway.

At least 2 people are still missing. Just now I saw officials with dogs continuing the search this morning.

This morning, San Antonio Police have the entirety of the Briar Glen Trailhead blocked. They’re expected to continue the search for those that were swept into Beitel Creek by a flash flood yesterday.

10 people rescued
Many of them in trees to escape high water
2 were able to get out themselves
All this after over a dozen cars were swept away while on the access road this morning in San Antonio.
The search for missing people still happening.
