How do you find art and artists to follow on bsky? Do you check certain tags? Do you search up certain characters or fandoms? Or do you just find them through the people you follow? I realized the other day searching the nsfw art tag that it was mostly AI slop and that was disappointing.

I got myself some alcohol markers and I'm learning how to use them. I've been drawing entirely digitally for most of my adult life but recently I find myself wanting to play with traditional supplies again.

This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

My ybyrapora diverspies (aka amazon sapphire pinktoe)! They get to be about 5 inches legspan as adults and they are arboreal. I don't know what sex, it'll probably be a long time before I can find that out. I'm super happy with them, they are adorable. I won't post them often, I promise, lol.

I ordered my first tarantula the other day and it's coming on Thursday and I'm really excited but also scared because it's just a sling and sometimes they just die for no reason because they're young and vulnerable but I really wanna watch it grow up from a baby so I'm gonna do my best ;3;

Day 26 rats against AI. I think most of the enjoyment of hobbies comes from the process. If you skip straight to the result by using AI to make art/music/writing, you're robbing yourself of the fun of the process. The real reward is learning, improving and feeling proud of yourself for doing it.
