15 years ago today: a seemingly simple cartoon aired. About a year later I saw my first episode, and more importantly, discovered this community. Ponies have been part of my daily life ever since!

Honestly, i never would have pegged Sourcery as a "studio demand". it always felt to me more like a Rincewind reboot. an attempt to do TCOM right. or at least, correct its flaws.

most of the watch books are like this. but there are a couple other books that take the idea and go even further to suggest that magic itself IS the problem.

and not for nothing that nearly all the major "good guy" characters would be the villains of any other story.

and the real villains, no matter their shape, were all those with power that tried to take the power of others, often, tho not always, for themselves.

Leviathan and Deep Star 6 always made for a great double feature.
