I do have a couple of friends that listen to quite a bit of indie (neither of them are hipsters by the way), but if I asked them for a good band they would probably recommend me something that I have never heard of and I might get turned off by the genre entirely.

Also, the sitar is a horrible instrument that reminds me of everything bad that has happened in my life (the first time I saw goaste and tubgirl come to mind)

I supported a couch-attached sponger for 3 months out of human courtesy who eventually ripped me off by swiping my PlayStation and CD collection but he did wear a vintage 2112 tee for the entire duration and somehow always had coin for knock-you-on-your-assets pot and reenergized my love for Rush.

every time I listen to it I start to feel physically ill by about track 5.
Now I'm NOT being metaphorical, I'm not insulting Radiohead's music at all.
On the level, I feel ILL.

Maybe I'll give the chicken kebab a miss next time I plan on listenin to it

"Western" is a moving and also alienating song. A murder ballad from digital western wasteland. Here's to the future of popular affecting noise music.

In the spring and summer of 1985, the insipid "We Are the World" by U.S.A. For Africa was everywhere. There was no getting away from that damned thing! Yes, I know the record was made for a good cause (feeding starving Ethiopians), but remember what the road to hell is paved with.

I've wrestled with myself over this. I've had long, profound and often hurtful inner debates over whether I should go with my head and turn away from Eminem in disgust, or whether I should just bite the bullet and let myself enjoy it.

in the play, ophelia goes insane because hamlet rejects her so i guess Taylor Swift is singing about how that didn't happen to her (because a guy (travis kelce) didn't reject her). ok.

Following a formative conversation on a commercial litigator's son's trampoline, I was bouncing towards the natiform gates of sexual intrigue. Untimely protrusions and protimely untrusions; my world was mixed up and battered in craven desires.

Half a star for snoop dogg because I love that his throat always sounds like it's coated with a thick layer of cocaine and care bear smiles....

It sounds a bit like a grandfather telling his sex stories in the service, in a detailed and overly long way.

An album like this is so refreshing to hear. It's refreshing to hear an album so mind-numbingly boring and so poorly written

Back in early 2011 nobody outside of Scandinavia had heard of Denmark. That's right, nobody. Okay there were the millions of people who watched the nation win Euro 1992. But those were football fans: alcoholics with no long-term memory.

why write an album that references Concordes loads of times and then choose a different plane for the album cover?

Also, reminder that therapeutic drugs effect ones emotional response to music so please refrain from posting reviews if you are under the influence of SSRIs or other mental crutches. These may alter your impression of this perfect album.

…it's your will that matters, you're living in a lie and it's time to get out. Skip town, buy a one-way ticket, and when you hear about your ex-neighbours burning to cinders you smile to yourself, and then get on with fucking the cute carioca on the beach.
