I liked the setup of Veronica being the oldest of 4 kids with a parent who isn’t around much, the lack of adult presence and the protagonist being a kid having to act grown up adds an extra level of fear for me.

Not the most original plot but a very well done interpretation. Veronica is a great character, I’m constantly feeling awful for her and hoping she gets through this.

The cuntiest slasher I've ever seen! I was a little worried going in due to this emulating giallo, a genre I've never really got on with personally but this was so fun and moved at a brisk pace. There was a twist I wasn't that into but overall the film was very enjoyable.

Any imagery we get is surface level and feels slapped in to get the loosest connection. Had this been an original movie, I would’ve really liked this but knowing how much it’s butchered ruined this a lot for me.

This would’ve gone up a star if it wasn’t called Until Dawn. I understand the want to make a new story in that universe because the game is already very cinematic but it literally contradicts the world it’s supposed to be in. I hate we don’t use the tone or music of the game.

Home Haunt - This one was fun, nothing too special but I had an alright time with it once the horror started.

Fun Size - This was very silly and a lot of fun, was laughing throughout this one.

Kidprint - Highly dark and disturbing on a level I'm not sure the V/H/S franchise has gone to before, I liked it a lot.

Coochie Coochie Coo - I liked this one, was very weird and creepy but I was soured a little by what appeared to be an AI generated image used as a prop.

Ut Supra Sic Infra - I was excited that Paco Plaza (one of the directors of REC) was doing another found footage but this did nothing for me.

I'm very surprised people are saying this is the best entry in the series, this was very middle of the road for me.

Diet Phantasma - the frame narrative is a load of nothing just like all the frame narratives in V/H/S movies, wish they'd cut them in future instalments.
