I just added my very first (and maybe last!) post on Substack. It's about my dad (who is not in the picture though it kind of looks like him...)

In December 2015 I flew home to Seattle the day before my father had surgery to remove a malignant tumor, an operation that would prove unsuccessful, ending in his death six weeks later.
