Finished the Monster Hunter Stories 3 demo and loved it. Spent around 8 hours, a surprising amount of content to get stuck into.
They’ve expanded the formula a lot, everything feels bigger and more detailed. Really intrigued to see where the story goes!

Watched the new Silent Hill. It was ....a movie.
To be fair, it was kinda cool seeing some of the iconic scenes being brought to life, but you'd never even believe it was from the same director as the first one.
My recommendation? Just play SH2. The Bloober remake. It's great.

I love demos. For real. They make me feel like an accomplished gamer when I haven't completed anything in weeks.

I might have to replay Granblue Fantasy Relink especially if it comes with additional content. The OG game was short and sweet, I had a blast with it.

LTTP but I played the Pragmata demo and I'm instantly sold.
What a cool concept! I had no idea what the combat was all about, but it's almost like Resident Evil x Dead Space with hacking mechanics layered on top.
Gonna be hard to resist this one in April. Feels *very* Capcom in the best way.

Not sure if Kiln is for me, but I'm really happy that devs like Double Fine exist, are allowed to have fun and be creative, and make anything they want. It's incredible that they're still around after all these years.

Someone I work with in freelance told me I was undervaluing my work. The truth is that I always find it hard to price myself up, since every pitch is different, and budget ceilings change all the time.
So yeah, I really appreciated that honesty. Being reminded of my worth felt pretty great.

Saw Hamnet yesterday and my main take-away is that Max Richter continues to be one of my favourite score composers ever. Everything he touches just adds so much emotional depth. The movie was pretty good too in the way it came together at the end.

What a heart wrenchingly honest movie about loneliness, connection and loss. I teared up 3-4 times throughout this movie. Funny and endearing characters, great performances and beautiful cinematography. If you love Japanese culture as well, it's a must watch.

Showing my age but does anyone else miss the days where we all burned CDs and DVDRWs? Watching that progress bar tick down before the disc tray spat it out. I had entire folders with collections of stuff. Now of course, all digital.
