Looks like the big game awards battle is gonna be between E33 and Death Stranding 2.
Honestly, I adored both games so I really am happy regardless of what happens this time. They both deserve nods completely

More of a general gaming complaint but spurred on by my last post, but I'm getting kinda sick of the Live Service messing with gaming plots thing.
So many live service games try to have a campaign/story mode but they always have to give it no resolution because the enemy CAN'T be beaten so it lasts

BO7's campaign was a strange one. A "fear gas" plot really fits Black Ops weird vibe and had bags of potential. Some cool mindbendy missions but man, it just felt like a bunch of scenes that led to nothing.

Its insane how my interest in any game reveal drops to not even just 0 but probably the negatives by the simple addition of
"For VR" or "..For iOS/Android"

Honestly 7.4 is looking like an all timer patch for vibes. The MSQ looks intriguing, I'll always love Arcadion, the trial looks super crazy and the Variant (and presumably criterion) Dungeon looking like some Cartoon fun world.

Directly learning from the Chaotic Feedback last year. As someone who'll most likely be pfing this tier again this is nice. Plenty of time to relax during the holidays then be ready for the chaos.

Saw this on twitter and absolutely cannot agree with that beautiful sarcasm more. I've said it to my friends for months now even years. Player "metrics" and stuff like SteamDB player counts was absolutely one of the worst thing to happen to gaming discussion

Not to be a downer, and I get why they need to do it, but these lotteries are genuinely killing Fanfest Hype. I remember when me and a friend went to the London one in 2023 and like every group we spoke to were split up and annoyed. Everyone was essentially in groups of 2. Makes getting excited hard

I can't lie I'm still thinking of the wordplay of the Halo Remake being called Campaign Evolved so that it can still just be called Halo CE. Its cute ok :P

Saw a beautiful take on Halo Reach that really put into words why it impacted me so much. In essence, its real. Noble don't don't open up immediately, and when they do... well, it all starts going wrong. You're not losing loved characters or faceless ones. You have their potential snatched away.
