I think your candidate pool is, more or less, Oliveira, Nishino, Oniki, Mischa, Moriyasu, Okada, and I think an argument could be made for Nelsinho Baptista as well.
Mischa has the fewest trophies, but at the same time I feel like he created such a strong culture...

A mixed record, sure, but Dani Poyatos clearly made his mark on the team & changed their play-style. I also feel he got shafted by their recruitment team at various times. It'll be interesting to see if he gets another job in the #JLeague.

Oh i was discussing this with a colleague yesterday so nice to get some clarity (well, ok there are some weird permutations especially wrt to the. 100 Year Vision league lol)
The winner of today's Emperor's Cup final between Machida Zelvia and Vissel Kobe will get a spot in the 2026-27 ACL2.
UNLESS either of them win the 2025-26 ACLE or the 100 Year Vision League, both of which would offer them direct entry to the 2026-27 ACLE.
