so kind of you and THANK YOU for this I wrote to Jane Fonda and sent her a clip of Marsha discussing the Committee. I truly think she didn't know who started the Committee AND it never came up in conversation because people ASSUMED her Dad started the Committee. Job well done!

Finally, Chris Yogerst gets it right- & gives credit where credit is due. The Committee for the First Amendment was the brainchild of Philip Dunne, William Wyler & John Huston! A meticulously researched article and an important learning tool. Thanks Chris. I think you are the first to get it right

80 years ago, today. October 5, 1945. Marsha explains in "Marsha Hunt's Sweet Adversity", as a SAG board member at this time, she learned a painful lesson about the Warner Bros Strike.
