Bejoy also met with Darryn Allcorn and discussed the Trust’s EDI strategy with Jenny Birchall.

He had the opportunity to speak with 20 of our internationally educated colleagues and hear about their experiences working at UHP.

The morning tour included visits to Shaugh, Honeyford, and Erme wards.

Bejoy was greeted by our Plymouth Branch Chair, Stuart, and SRO Nikki for a busy day of meeting with members.

For those of you that missed June's branch meeting, I wanted to share a meeting highlight from our guest speaker- Tim Bott from Plymouth Autism Spectrum Service.

Our next branch meeting will be August 19th at 6pm via Teams.
We will share the highlights with you and welcome discussion on any hot-topics.

As soon as the event is available to book, I will share here so keep a look out.
Your exec team are also keen to share news from this years RCN Congress in Liverpool. 4 voting members attended on behalf of the branch as well as our Chair and Lead Rep. It was a very packed agenda with lots of debates and learning.
They are very excited to share their new model of support that they are rolling out at the moment that is hosted on a digital platform they have created. It incorporates waiting well, part of the assessment process and support and materials.
Our next branch meeting will be 17th June 18:00-19:30 via Teams.

Our guest speakers will be Tim Bott, Service Manager, and Phillip Hanscombe, RNLD and Senior Autism Practitioner, from Plymouth Autism Spectrum Service.
For UHP staff it might be parking. For private sector it might be pay. There might be a shared learning need in your department.

We have a fixed agenda, and updates to share with members but this is also your opportunity for your voice to be heard.
