Many kids attend West Point orienteering weekends and mini jamborees at the Naval Academy, all of which piqued their interest to serve. Academy students "work" at a number of high adventure camps during the summer to place them in real life leadership roles. 2/3

Dispicable! Scouts 1 of the best military recruiting tools! Many troops have had some scouting experience with lots of government officials Eagle Scouts. Scouting is generally a child's first public service experience. 1/3

Can I use a word ending in "ist" since that's what comes to mind when I see that the Pentagon announced new restrictions on journalists covering the DoD requiring reporters to pledge they will not obtain or publish any information, even unclassified, unless it has been expressly authorized by them.
