It turns out starter packs have a limit of 150 accounts, so I did my best to find the 150 accounts to best stay on top of the web and React ecosystem ✨ go.bsky.app/RWZABB6

This Month in React, March 2025: Next had an auth vulnerability, TypeScript is porting to Golang

Next.js had a critical vulnerability in middleware versions 12–15 — and didn't coordinate a patch with other hosting providers; React Native shipped React 19 support; TS is rewriting to Golang

This Month in React, February 2024: Updated new project docs!

The core team shipped new docs and a blog post; Sunsetting Create React App. This comes after much back-and-forth about what to do with the project, with the core team generally recommending against SPAs (and de-emphasizing Vite)

I dream of a reputation system where people can flag those they've worked with as being good collaborators, and wonder if it would be useful to add a means to verify one's identity as a show of trust. What's stopping you from using the job board? Maybe I can fix it
January 30, 2025 at 11:08 PM
We know that any application will get spammed with invalid submissions from around the world, but unfortunately that's table stakes for a public online job board. What we'd like, though, is to provide more ways for those who engage honestly to rise to the top
January 30, 2025 at 11:08 PM
What I (@vcarl.com) am most excited about, though, is that this is directly powered by our Discord bot that enforces our job board rules. Where previously these messages were simply ingested and published as they came in, now they must pass a series of validation tests before being shared
January 30, 2025 at 11:08 PM
For one: the new bot is able to forward a real-time feed of reactions that have been applied from members in the community, which adds a ton of signal as to what posts can be trusted
January 30, 2025 at 11:02 PM
This had actually gotten quite crufty over the years, and the bot powering the job board on our website finally gave up the ghost in December, no longer publishing new posts. This is a from-scratch rewrite that takes advantage of a bunch of recent improvements within the server, and tees up more
January 30, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Did you know we have a job board? It's open to all in the community, and we just shipped a big revision to how it gets shown on the web to make it easier to use www.reactiflux.com/jobs
