A collab with @krookedreality.bsky.social, a bnuy custom made for @reactorpool.bsky.social! WOO 🧡✨🐰🌊

#eyestrain#characterdesign#digitalart#monsters#alienoc#weirdcore
A digital artwork of an abstract creature featuring a combination of an anthropomorphic rabbit plus coelacanth fishtail. The character's head is bunny-like, does not have a mouth, but have multiple expressive eyes and sparkles. An inflatable cyan swim ring is worn around their waist, crowded with floating web-windows all over the edges of their limbs, wearing rave party glow-stick bracelets, and polygonal complex markings on the body. Floating prisms with rainbow beams surround their body, while the background has a ton of muted glitch effects.

icon commission for @reactorpool.bsky.social of his lovely angelic fella 💙🦢

#digitalart#illustration#monsters
A digital artwork of a humanoid angel character. The creature is grinning to show sharp pastel teeth, has long pearlescent white hair, a dark singular horn, and body colored to be half-void and half-prismatic. The character wears a black collar and three hair clips shaped like the number seven. The art is decorated with hatching lines, circular and square patterns, and blue glitches with eye sigils.

can't say anything that hasn't already been said a million times better. it just boggles my mind, we only get one chance at life. ONE CHANCE. why waste it being a hateful bigot? why spend your precious time on this earth inflicting pain and misery on others?

to live is such a gift. be worthy of it.

art is false starts, art is abandonware, art is rough drafts, art is process JUST as much as it is a framed painting or a finished film. this has been noted ad nauseum at this point but art is effort and expression and passion and love, not a constructed item for purchase

We had a problem iirc last year where some set up shop either in the kitchen wall or they came in through the wall behind the lower kitchen cabinets and set up shop back there, we saw at least 50 or more a week it was insane. Thankfully that didn't happen again & I hope it never does, it's miserable

-> and I try to make sure people are credited. I don't wanna leave out any art just cus the artists wish to remain anonymous or I can't locate them, that defeats the purpose of toyhouse as a character archive.
reactorpool.bsky.social
This makes me super worried cus I have a few uncredited items, some were gotten as gifts for me and I never found out who the artists were, others the people removed their creds so their accounts can remain mostly private. If you look around, 99.9999% of the characters/art I have are credited ->
reactorpool.bsky.social
That's really bizarre cus I was told that Toyhouse admins usually don't mind like 1 or a couple things being uncredited especially cus I have seen some people on toyhouse who purposefully remove their credits from their art they did for others cus they don't want people finding them :<

my fellow artists, if you ever feel like a failure, just remember the clowns who tried to sneak in gen AI images at Dragoncon

I've seen some vocally anti-AI people recently make an anti-AI post and be surprised there are still pro-AI people following them, and I can explain this;

most pro-AI people think they are somehow the exception. the way THEY are using it, SURELY you would take no issue!

well, we do. so fuck off.

& these vids also help pay the bills. Idk I just can't see what some other people see and there are honestly better criticisms a person could give him other than "pretentious". But yall do you
reactorpool.bsky.social
Gonna be honest a lot of people throw "pretentious" around like some kind of buzzword these days and it's a little annoying. Super Eyepatch Wolf does not come off as arrogant to me at all and idk where people get that from. Dude wants to share stuff with people that he's into or fascinated by

Anyone who actually uses "degenerate" to describe an artist/art, I'm going to automatically assume their ideals are aligned with white nationalists/nazis/christofascists, bc -Hitler himself- coined that usage of the term. I will never trust anyone who uses this term for art/artists, fuck them all

ever seen, and I recommend more people check it out, especially the older stuff. It is WILD. If you want some juicy tidbits, check out the wrestling videos that Super Eyepatch Wolf has on it, I promise they're worth your time.
reactorpool.bsky.social
My partner and I got to talking about wrestling cus they grew up watching the Old stuff (ie back when Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, etc. were starting to get big) and they showed me the vid for Mankind being thrown off the top of hell in a cell. Wrestling is the most fascinating form of theater I've

I think one of the principal barriers to novice artists who feel tempted by the idea of image gen software is failing to realize that you will never see your own work the way you do the work of others. You will never experience something of your own design the way you would a "new release"
