Really charming moment I had visiting my grandfather this weekend was when I shared my silly little side-project of making a cookbook of all the recipes I have enjoyed making, after which his eyes lit up and he ran over to his pantry to pull out 8 binders in which he had done the exact same thing

we got a pet camera a few years ago that i mostly use to check to make sure that i remembered to shut the front door when i get anxious. great investment and has saved me a great deal of meaningless trips home

a few months ago my upstairs neighbor's A/C sprung a leak that dribbled into our furnace room. nothing really damaged and they fixed it, so nothing really to be terribly upset about. except the water leaked all over my tool case and now they're all rusty as fuck and i'm pretty annoyed about that

deviated on my way home to see how A Single PBL was doing, and my unsurprising and unscientific conclusion is that if your PBL got plowed it's probably mostly fine, but if your PBL did Not get plowed, this thaw wasn't enough it is probably still Doo Doo Dookie Shit from a Butt Ass
