People pushing this so-called “peace deal” don’t understand Ukraine or Zelensky. He’s not handing over territory. He’s not surrendering. He’s not legitimizing Russia’s invasion. Ukraine will hold on, fight on, and wait out Trump's time in office until real support returns.

I finished Death by Lightning last night. What a series. The entire cast absolutely crushed it, but the actor who played Charles Guiteau deserves special praise. He captured the character’s chaotic energy, delusion, and unpredictability perfectly.

What's crazy about this take is how the Sydney Sweeney discourse flared up again on X last week but was completely ignored on here. His brain is cooked on reactionary discourse and thinks everyone has his warped conception of a view on it.

Out of the 8 senators who capitulate, only one is up for re-election in 2026, Senator Jeanne Shaheen (NH). Looks like she'll be the first to be replaced. Hopefully the good people of NH will find a worthy candidate who isn't a coward to easily take her Senate seat.

Mayor-elect Mandani must stay vigilant. His foes inside and outside City Hall will try to undermine him and tarnish his name. If I were him, I’d focus on building a strong relationship with Gov. Hochul—together, they could counter any political attacks.

FDR wasn’t a Democratic Socialist — he was a reformist liberal who saved capitalism from collapse. The New Deal built safety nets and reined in corporate excess, but private enterprise stayed intact. He didn’t want to overthrow capitalism — he wanted to make it work for everyone.
