Dogs, democracy, and drama (the theater kind, not the real-life kind, please). Also birds, flowers, travel, photography... Lots of things bring me joy. :) All photos my own unless credited.

I will miss seeing you and the dogs as Twitter ultimately became too toxic for me. But I support you doing whatever is best for your mental health. Love to you all!
We threw this in last minute this past week (the day before the closure announcement) because Darren Criss was out for Maybe Happy Ending. I’m so glad we did! Just so cool and creative. I wish it had found its feet.
I love how they look like they were accidentally washed with a brand new pair of dark-wash jeans.😁
Post a warning—came upon this in Sharm el Sheikh. Am still confused.
Tiny dragon cat is in the process of leaving this world. 16 years is not enough.💔
Maisie is a pretty stellar audience for piano practice. #DogsOfBlueSky #bernedoodle #MaisieMoo
Do you think it would be good as an audiobook? I have to drive to PA soon, and I’m starting to think about my travel downloads.

Today's bird is the #SlenderBilledGull cruising the waters of the Magic Lake in Fayoum, Egypt. #birds #gull
Today’s bird is the #PiedKingfisher. These guys escorted our Nile riverboat for a short while. They’re pretty noisy! (And just pretty.) #birds #kingfisher
The bird of the day is another Nile friend, the #FerruginousDuck. I love their coppery color #birds #duck
Today’s bird is my sweet new friend the #SpurWingedLapwing. We also met on the Nile. I very much enjoyed these long-legged guys. #birds
It’s all that’s bringing me joy some days. Interesting times and all that. Thanks for creating this space.
I do not like this iteration of the multiverse.
Happy #TernTuesday. I've been away for a bit, but here is my new friend, the #WhiskeredTern. We met on the Nile. ;p #birds #tern
You’ve never seen it? I loved it so much that I bought tickets for all the kids at intermission. Later after I met my bio mom, I learned that my cousin Alix *was* a “come from away.”
House sparrows. I’m in Egypt currently, and they’re everywhere. I realized I’ve seen them pretty much everywhere I’ve traveled. Resilient adaptable little suckers.
A large and VERY NOISY population.😂
