My issue is with extreme pain/cramps after taking the combination pill back to back for 2 years. There’s so little advise online other than forums with other AFAB people. I was denied a hysto at 17, 25 etc and just sick of it and doctors downplaying the pain.

I’m so sorry, the fatphobia from doctors is absolutely disgusting and rife. I have hEDS and the only decent advise I ever got was from a female rheumatologist and I had to really fight for that appointment too. Online communities often seem to be the best option

Literally this. I’ve personally found so many male doctors just won’t really listen to me. Or say stuff is normal when it’s absolutely not.

It’s so frustrating trying to find gyno advice with hormone/pill issues, legit an AFAB reddit forum has given me more answers than doctors ever have.
