Maybe she would have gotten shy by his expression if not for his words. She looks immediately happier at that offer. Not solely due to shopping, but at the prospect of spending time with him. And helping him, of course.

If he was not increasingly becoming concerned with making her feel comfortable then he would have spared a laugh at that expression of hers. He cannot even help the way his eyes squint in amusement behind his glasses.

There was more of a guarded look for the fact that she was speaking to her rather than the accidental collision.

It’s been a couple weeks at most since they last saw each other. A blink for monsters but the absence was still felt.
