Finished reading this the other day and loved it a whole lot. Felt like a 90s Gregg Araki movie mixed with Boogiepop and some other shit. Parts of it felt like Dennis Cooper’s Blair Witch Project. Felt my soul sucked out by the end.

Her works were grounded and beautifully direct. There’s real emotional weight in her stark minimalist stylings. Absolutely tragic loss of a unique artist. Reading Blue in high school was one of the eye openers to how much manga was truly out there
