Today's Newfoundland and Labrador art share:
"S.S. Caribou" (2023) 23" X 17" acrylic on paper by Reilly Fitzgerald.
The "Caribou" was sunk by a German sub on Oct. 14, 1942: 137 souls were lost, many were women and children.
This is my tribute to the ship and their memory.

"Blue"(2019) a "wood grain painting" acrylic on oak veneer board by Reilly Fitzgerald.
When painting in this style I use the wood's natural grain to determine the lines of the background and other items in the painting.
