October Rising Day 10: Hatchling
Gregory loves his daughter Peanut very much... but they've both been turned into statues for a while, now (heh, I'll do some lore ramblings on here at some point but now is not that time).

A statue of two Flight Rising Pearlcatcher dragons. The larger one is curled around the smaller one, his wing protecting her from the elements, and is looking down at her with a soft smile. His other wing is over his pearl. The smaller dragon is curled around her own pearl, which is bigger than she is; she's fast asleep.

October Rising Day 9: Thread
There were a few ways to go with this one, but I picked one of my tailors, Zenith. She normally does patching-up kinds of things, but here she's made something for herself... well, for her chinchilla, who may or may not appreciate it, ha!

October Rising Day 8: Monster
My dragon Hestia faces down a Fear Frog! Properly, she should have her buddy Rosewing with her too, but y'know, composition 'n stuff.

Tarragon here is banned from the community kitchens for good reason; their sense for what makes a good recipe is... not to everyone's taste.

A fluffy dragon focuses intently on their cooking- specifically, cutting slices from the end of a book! On the counter sits a mixing bowl and a variety of fruits- a durian, a tomato, a dragonfruit, a pumpkin, a Buddha's Hand, an eggplant, and a coconut.

A bit of an aside... I don't appreciate how AI has made it so I have to post-process my art before posting nowadays. I miss being able to just like, yeet my stuffs on Discord as soon as the last brush stroke was down. At least the four-hour time cost means I double-check things a little bit better.

Jasper is a kindly old dragon, and as Snapper dragons are nomadic, she's been lots of places and has lots of stories! The smaller dragon isn't anyone in particular, I just happened to get some Nocturnes in my last batch of hatchlings and they're pretty fun to draw.

A kindly old snapping turtle/alligator-like dragon tells a story of a tall, cloud-shrouded tower to an eager young batlike dragon.

This character limit takes some getting used to. Anyways, Echo was supposed to be my story's big-bad, but then I was looking at her stats and it turns out she's got the "always hatchling size" bug so she's a smol-bad instead. This is how my lair's first two Gaolers joined; they were summoned!

A small, komodo-dragon like dragon stands on her hind paws, hands/paws out to the sides as she cackles in a "Rise, my creation!" sort of way. The large cauldron she's in front of has smoke rising from it that's forming the shape of a long-furred lion-like dragon's head, horns, and mane.

What I got done on the 4th vs. the end drawing that I'm actually somewhat happy with. Elliot here's a prosthetician, and he loves his kitty very much.
This sketchbook style takes like... an eighth of the time for me to render as the full smooth lines/shading version, so is good for catching up.

Heh, there is some irony in FR having a very stable economy (for a pet sim), but everything you buy from the game is like, human country hyperinflation prices.

October Rising Day 3: Treasure

It's hard going shopping when you're small, especially when the shopkeepers aren't! Shroud here is lucky in that he was just asked to get a hat, not a breed change scroll- those go for five *hundred* thousand treasure! Poor lil guy would have to do even more counting.

A purple and brown dragon with blue eyespots on his shoulders and wings is grumpily taking coins out of a pouch- the pouch is half as big as he is, and the coins are about the same size as his head. He snarls up at an outstretched red claw, "I'd like to see YOU count out 5,000 of these for a stupid HAT!" and then adds, more quietly, "That I can't even wear...".

October Rising Day 2: Portal
Merlin has heard of the concept of self-preservation. He'll give it some thought at some point. Definitely after he checks out the pretty swirly thing, though! Nevermind that he's probably getting too old for this.

I liked this better transparent, but... Technical difficulties. The wood grain came out really nice though; reffed a bucket Walmart was selling.

October Rising Day 1: Mimic

My dragon Prismacolor, being made of paint, can mimic anything she likes. She prefers Wildclaw form, but nobody is on their A game directly after waking up, ha!

A wooden bucket is full of paint, which is drawn into the head, neck, and forepaws of a dragon. Prismacolor is primarily light green and cream, with blue and yellow markings on the green and red and purple markings on the cream. She has a blue and yellow underbelly; all her markings swirl together into the surface of the paint.
The drawing has a brown background with a subtle gradient.

Did some art on Saturday and finally got myself to get it properly _processed_ to upload. Some of my gaming buddies and myself as Hollow Knight characters/vessels!

Three characters modeled after Hollow Knight's player character. The left one is medium height and has a red cloak, dark tinted goggles, and small horns, and is leaning on their nail like a cane. The middle one is tall with a long, raggedy orange cloak, raggedy white wings, a crown of thorns, and thin orange slit pupils, and is standing neutrally with their scythe strapped to their back. The right one is shorter, with a raggedy gray cloak that drags on the ground, raggedy wings, a bandana, and a little leaf on their horn-crowned head; they hold their nail in their hands, and they have a crack in their carapace that runs through their viewer's-left eye.
