Funnily enough, I served in the Military, the Penultimate Place for Hustle Culture (we literally had self-help gurus come in at CC gatherings to beat us over the head about it).

The military used me up & spat me out; then I spent 11 years trying to get compensation. "Careers" are gaslighting, IMO.
