On one hand, another entirely preventable catastrophic loss of life in a place where young people should feel safe.

Finally started reading Invincible only to find that my library just straight up does not have a copy of the ultimate collection volume 5.
1+ copies each of volumes 1-4 and 6-12, zero volume 5.
About to buy a copy and read it and then donate it because it bothers me THAT MUCH.

Other option is a $900 nitro 17 with a bigger screen, same GPU but better ryzen (3.8GHz v 3.2 on the nitro V). Dunno if I’d even need it tbh, doubt I’ll need to overclock to play the sims. OLED screen would be nice but I’m not finding anything for under $1200 :(

Thanks for the input! Yeah this would be my first AMD CPU purchase so I’m doubting myself, lol. I’m ok with the so so GPU, this will probably end up being a cozy RPG and D&D machine if I’m being honest. This is an acer nitro.

As for why the right wing media machine didn’t work on her in this case, no clue. She’s read all the Lively/Baldoni court documents and is particularly disgusted by Baldoni’s sexual comments to Lively in the workplace.

She’s hard to categorize. She supports Trump and voted for him, but she is quite educated and can come up with a mostly coherent defense of anything he does. I think of MAGA more as blind uninformed loyalty and she’s definitely informed, her info just happens to include a lot of sourced propaganda.

This has been interesting to me because my mom is very much a conservative, has been following this case exhaustively and is completely on Lively’s side. It’s causing her to question all the RW influencers pushing Baldoni (Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, etc). Going to send her this article now 😬
