I’ve been informed that Jerry Gabrielatos is leaving his role as City Manager. Hiring Jerry was one of the last major decisions I made while on City Council, and I’ve truly appreciated getting to know and work with him in my role as State Representative.

I had the opportunity to testify on Assembly Bill 548, which creates a specialty license plate honoring veterans who received the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. The bill has now unanimously passed out of committee.

I was able to attend a panel on youth homelessness in Janesville, hosted by Project 16:49. The panelists were incredibly inspiring as they shared their experiences and ideas to address the youth homelessness crisis.

#SullySunday at Juanito’s Pizza in Beloit! It’s our first repeat stop. Sully had to support all the good they’ve done recently. They’ve given out nearly 400 pizzas and had bags of food donated to them for families in need. Support businesses that give back!

The appropriate number of child marriages is zero.
