As Thanksgiving approaches.... I’m thinking of Minnesota’s Turkey Growers!🦃

Thank you for working day-in and day-out so Minnesotans can get turkey on the table. Here’s a little throwback from FarmFest this summer!

I joined the @mnfarmersunion.bsky.social 84th Annual Convention today to discuss my work as Ranking Member on the House Ag committee.

As this Administration puts Minnesota family farmers through the wringer, I’m leading the fight to put rural Minnesota first.

Let me be clear: MN’s Somali communities are integral to our state & they are here to stay. Instead of focusing on making life better for folks across this country, Trump is yet again using legal immigrants as political pawns. It’s not only a distraction - it’s a disgrace.

Today, I stopped by the Minnesota Farm Bureau’s Annual Conference to hear from MN family farmers about how this Admin’s chaotic tariffs are decimating markets.

As the top Democrat on the Ag Committee, I’m working to create markets for our family farmers – not cut them off.

As a mother who had to fight in court to adopt my son, I have experienced the widespread discrimination in our country's adoption and foster care systems firsthand. Every child deserves a loving home, and LGBTQ+ families should legally be allowed to provide one.

For far too long, pharmaceutical companies have driven up prices and raked in record-breaking profits – forcing everyday Americans to choose between picking up lifesaving prescriptions and putting food on the table.

If this isn’t a metaphor for Mike Johnsons speakership, I don’t know what is. 🔥🚒🚨

Trump proposed eligibility restrictions for Social Security Disability, which would have enacted one of the largest benefit cuts in history.

I joined my colleagues in pushing the Admin to reverse course and I’m proud to say we stopped this disastrous proposal.

Let’s keep up the pressure.

Every MN senior should have the information and support they need to access their earned Medicare benefits.

I’m proud to reintroduce my Senior Savings Protection Act, which will extend Medicare enrollment resources and outreach so seniors across this country get the health care they deserve.

No matter which party you belong to, I think we can all agree that this is extremely wrong and dangerous.

The President of the United States should not be threatening to kill those who disagree with him.

This kind of behavior puts every American at risk.

Today, we remember our transgender siblings taken too soon by acts of violence.

In their memories, we must all commit to ending anti-trans violence and countering the hate that inspires it. #TDOR

I had an important conversation with members from the Minnesota Agriculture and Rural Leadership program yesterday. Thanks for stopping by!

After the longest shutdown ever, Republicans’ first order of business was to dismantle protections for millions of acres of public lands – putting Tribal sites and natural resources at risk.

All while giving the fossil fuel industry their largest tax break in history.

It’s wrong on so many levels.

Donald Trump has spent months trying to keep the Epstein files hidden because they implicate him in Epstein’s heinous crimes.

Today, I voted to release them.

It’s past time we hold these perpetrators accountable, bring closure to the survivors and deliver the truth to the American people.

House Republicans knew that shifting the cost of federal programs onto states would raise property taxes.

They did it anyway. And now Minnesotans are paying the price.

Why? Because they don’t care about making your life more affordable.

These survivors have been silenced for far too long. It’s time to release the files.

November is Native American Heritage Month!

This month, we recognize the rich culture and history of Minnesota’s indigenous peoples, pay tribute to the original stewards of our lands and honor their contributions to our state’s heritage.

I was honored to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Highway 13 Trail in Prior Lake on Friday – which I was proud to have secured $1M in federal funding for.

This trail will not only increase Minnesotans’ access to the outdoors, but it will also increase foot traffic to local businesses.

Every year, I visit Mitch Snobeck's political science class at Eagan High School to answer questions about our government and share my experiences in Congress.

It’s so important to get young voices involved in our democracy, and I was honored to hear from such a bright group of students!

This week, I honored the public safety champions in my district who work day in and day out to keep Minnesotans safe.

I'm deeply grateful for these unsung heroes who have shown a tireless commitment to ensuring community safety.

On Tuesday, masked ICE agents with guns drawn arrested Adan Nunez Gonzalez in Northfield. They failed to inform local law enforcement of their presence in the city and refused to identify themselves or provide an arrest warrant.

This conduct is unacceptable for any federal agency.

The Trump Admin's choice to remove Temporary Protected Status (TPS) protections from Venezuela is just plain wrong.

I’m joining Senator Van Hollen and Rep. Wasserman Schultz in the fight to overturn this Trump decision and uphold TPS status for Venezuela.

Because of the Republican funding bill that passed last night, health care costs will continue to rise for millions of Americans.

Minnesotans deserve better.

This fight isn’t over and I’m not backing down.
