I’m endlessly grateful for the incredible first responders here in Delco who show up for us every day in our hardest moments. Your courage, professionalism, and compassion keep our communities safe and strong. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your selfless, hard work taking care of us.
News on the community discussion we had on e-scooter safety, my work looking into relief from rising electricity costs and how data centers factor into energy needs and production, and much more on the issues that impact you: pahouse.com/borowski/InTheNews/Correspondence/?id=140788
If you’re looking to lend a hand to our neighbors who will be feeling this loss, our local food banks will need extra support as they experience higher than usual demand. My office’s fall food drive is already underway, and financial donations can be made at philabundance.org.
I know how deeply the loss of SNAP funds will impact many families; we have over 600 people in our district who depend on it for support. While my office can’t change what’s happening in Washington, please know we care & can help connect you with resources to ease the burden.
Now thru 12/7 you can join, switch or drop Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plans. Changes will take effect on 1/1/26. Making your choices doesn't have to be difficult! Stop in, call, or email our office and we'll connect you with a local PA MEDI counselor who can help.
A new edition of my e-newsletter hit inboxes today! The past 2 weeks bring updates on the state budget, Kate enjoying a day well spent with our friends the Delco Anglers, and plenty more from our district and from Harrisburg: pahouse.com/borowski/InTheNews/Correspondence/?id=140579
Please know that leaders in PA are acting swiftly to protect your family’s access to the vaccines your doctors recommend. This post on my website breaks down what’s happening at the FDA & CDC, how PA is responding, and what it means for you & your family: pahouse.com/borowski/New...
In case you missed it: my newest e-newsletter came out on Friday! Give it a read for the latest updates on legislation we're pushing this fall and what my staff and I have been up to around the district: www.pahouse.com/borowski/InT...

Our suburbs thrive because of reliable access to the city, and it’s past time for Senate Republicans to return to the negotiating table to finish the state budget and properly fund mass transit across Pennsylvania.
Mass transportation agencies like @septaphilly.bsky.social are critical to the collar counties surrounding Philadelphia.
In this week's e-newsletter: see what I've been up to around our community, check out my newly announced events, & plenty more: www.pahouse.com/borowski/InT...
Have Senate leaders forgotten they’re here to serve the public? Why else would they deal such an easily avoidable blow to taxpayers, to our economy?

Philly + SEPA is PA’s economic engine -- they chose to hamstring the service that keeps that engine running! pahouse.com/borowski/septa-action-center
In today's e-newsletter: Where we stand on funding SEPTA, schools, & hospitals; new events I'm hosting to put on your calendar; updates for college students and EV owners, & more: www.pahouse.com/borowski/InT...
It's Aug. 14, the legislature's deadline for saving #SEPTA from service cuts - but Senate leaders let everyone down, including our rural neighbors. And I have plenty to say on the matter: tinyurl.com/3jf4hbj4
A neighbor w/ a disability asked why Senate leaders want to fund private school vouchers for the few but won’t fund mass transit like #SEPTA, used by up to 40K riders w/ disabilities daily. Public transit = freedom. We can't let lawmakers take it away.
The House just voted yet *again,* after working thru the weekend, to give the Senate a new chance to fund public transit, roads, & bridges. We even added the audit rules for #SEPTA some GOP senators want. Folks across PA are wondering why their senators won’t return to the table.
Working thru the weekend to protect your access to hospitals, nursing homes & transit—but for now, a #FeelGoodFriday: Grateful to the PA Assoc. of Township Supervisors for highlighting the effort by Newtown Twp Supervisor Leonard Altieri & me to enhance autonomy of townships like those in the 168th!
Lobbyists are pushing back w/ the same tired lines: blaming safety rules & defending sale-leasebacks (they helped tank Crozer) as smart. Tell that to the Delco residents now an hour away from an ER!

Folks, the Delco Delegation won't quit until we get this done for you and *all* Pennsylvanians.
“One hundred twenty-one yes votes is nothing to sneeze about these days,” ‪@repleanne.com said after the proposal passed. She added that changes to the bill were made “in an effort to build bipartisan support for an issue that should not be political.”

PA nursing home lobby fights private equity oversight bill
Nursing homes seek a carveout from legislation that would provide oversight of health care acquisitions and aim to prevent facility closures.

I sent out a special edition of my e-newsletter because we're at a tipping point for students & commuters, thanks to lack of state budget funding for schools & #SEPTA.

Get the latest updates on both, and learn what you can do to help get the Senate moving: pahouse.com/borowski/InT...
Senator Picozzi represents daily commuters & says he stands for kids, transit, & jobs. So why is he signaling he’s ready to let SEPTA cuts happen and put families’ livelihoods on the line? Render people with disabilities unable to get to work?

Call him today at 215-281-2539 and ask!
42 days since the House passed HB1364 to fund SEPTA, roads & bridges—but the Senate still hasn’t acted. Instead, some senators proposed a “plan” that blames #SEPTA & adds red tape. Pennsylvanians need real transit funding now. share.inquirer.com/2NsNjf
PA's public transit authorities face financial struggles that will lead to drastic service cuts if our transportation funding bill (H.B. 1364) remains untouched by the Senate. SEPTA cuts would begin August 24th! Act now via my SEPTA Action Center: www.RepBorowski.com #septa #savesepta
Read about where we are in the state budget process (& my thoughts on getting to this point) in today's e-newsletter. Plus: how 42 nursing homes across PA are reinforcing the need for my proposal to protect our healthcare system from private equity, & much more news: www.pahouse.com/borowski/InT...
