The federal shutdown is occurring only tangentially as a function of trump’s minor (pun intended) embarrassment regarding Epstein or eliminating health care. The aim is clearly twofold. First it’s to limit emigration. Second it’s to squash commerce.

I cannot support a general strike any more fully. The 1% & their enabling capitalist system have got to go. It’s too bad most people depend on a cash economy for their food, water, & shelter. Any system of economy & govt is vulnerable to corruption. Collective action is better than what we have now.
