Rep. Sykes joined her colleagues in sending a letter to HHS Secretary RFK Jr. to demand he release funding for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program. This program helps millions of families, seniors, and children afford heating in the winter and cooling during dangerously hot summers.

Rep. Sykes recently voted in support of the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2025. The bill increases some VA benefits including disability compensation, clothing allowances, and dependency and indemnity compensation to reflect the reality of the increased cost of living.

Trump didn’t need Congress to pass a bill forcing him to release the Epstein Files. He could have done it any of the last 305 days of his presidency, including right now. He has chosen not to release them.
