Aarit is a shining example of why our community is known as the Birthplace of Champions, and Rep. Sykes looks forward to seeing all that he goes on to accomplish.

Rep. Sykes recently voted in support of the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2025. The bill increases some VA benefits including disability compensation, clothing allowances, and dependency and indemnity compensation to reflect the reality of the increased cost of living.

This week, Rep. Sykes named Archbishop Hoban senior Reese Gallagher the Champion of the Week for #OH13! Reese was recently named the girls Division III Player of the Year.

This season, Reese scored an impressive 44 goals and 15 assists, leading the Hoban Knights to the state semifinals.
