And yet House Republicans sent their members home. They've been on vacation instead of finding a solution to end this shutdown and lower healthcare costs.

Costs are high enough. Now, health care costs are going to nearly double when tax credits under the ACA expire.

I voted NO on Republicans' funding bill today: they refused to act to save people's health care. I won’t sit by as they give tax cuts to the rich & make costs greater for everyone else.

Like Kirk, Kimmel had the right to share his opinions-even if you find them offensive.

The problem with taking Kimmel off air has nothing to do with what he said. Trump put political pressure on ABC to cancel his show.

It's not cancel culture. It's a muzzle on speech that this admin doesn't like.

We can never forget the lives we lost on that day, and must ensure the heroes of 9/11 are given the resources they deserve.

An ICE Facility at Ft. Dix would undoubtedly affect our service members’ morale and their ability to serve.

It feels painfully hypocritical to have U.S. troops training to fight for our freedoms on the very same base that will likely ignore thousands of immigrants’ basic human rights.

This morning, @norcross.house.gov & I visited Ft. Dix to demand answers about the proposed detention center. As of now, no undocumented immigrants are being held on the base. But that hasn’t stopped this administration from keeping Congress and military officials in the dark about their intentions.

My deepest sympathies are with those affected by the flooding in Kerrville. I'm particularly devastated to hear about the young girls at Camp Mystic.

Thank you to the first responders for their heroic efforts. I also must thank NJ's own Scott Ruskan, who saved nearly 200 lives during the flooding.
