So, something I've noticed with anime a lot recently, specifically shonen anime, is that fight choreography has taken a backseat to really flashy animation.

I understand, it's cool and everything, but I want to see a fight *be* a fight, not just coloured lights flashing across the screen.

What gets me is that dataminers are treated with such reverence despite how it sucks the whimsy out of the game. It's the opposite to speedrunning. Instead of playing what they love to learn every limit of the game, they just clinically read off the game's glossary for I guess internet cred?

Worth mentioning that Microsoft, despite pushing Game Pass, still bases the success of their games on sales. Through that lens, this makes a lot of sense.
