Aid has a massive impact. We must maintain support for global health, nutrition and education to support a stable world that benefits all, including Canadians. Let's not follow the disappointing and devastating trend of cuts we're seeing in the US and elsewhere and keep investing in the world.

Carney's response? Well, essentially that we will find out in #Budget2025 on November 4th😕 But he did imply that spending levels might change. This is a very different tune to Carney's campaign promise of: "My government will not cut foreign aid."

And we're worried.
