+Yup. Ours took off after a dozen grazing deer. Came trotting back after 30 minutes, filthy with mud and a totally happy look. They will always return to where they jumped their prey. Often within feet of where they started. These dogs know their territory. They never forget a trail.

Bob, You the know the cause. In the 1990's corporations turned their backs on the workers and focused on 'shareholder value'. Corporate officers benefitted enormously from stock options. The concept was born. The rich got richer. The workers got diddly squat.

The wealth of the 85% has been sucked up in shareholder value. Gone are bonuses, stock options and high hourly pay. In are yearly layoffs and raises under the cost of living.

I received a notice from my corporate lawyers several days ago that said BOIR was on hold under Trump administration orders. I had already filed mine. They help keep bad actors from hiding criminal activity. Blatant backstop for the oligarchs.

Maine has a secret. Winter surely means cold, snow and ice. We are blessed with clear, sunny days and cerulean skies. A friend from California dreaded spent the winter here during the pandemic. But she stayed. She was enthralled by all the sunshine and beautiful days.

It's winter here in Harpswell, Maine. A short walk up the hill, a snow covered Mount Washington stands on the horizon- 75 miles away in New Hampshire. Clear skies indeed.
