If the idiots in the GOP get their way with an amendment to the US Constitution to mandate a balanced budget, you might as well shut it all down now. You cannot cut taxes for the rich and balance the budget.

I dug a little deeper into KTUL. In December 2023, Sinclair fired local staff and synced with their OKC ABC station. Now Tulsa is losing local broadcast of ABC, and KTUL will be FOX. Trump wins.

I just read that Sinclair is buying the local Tulsa Fox station. They already owned the ABC station. (Why I would not watch local news there.) Sinclair is firing the local ABC staff and replacing the programming with Fox. So Fox is moving from a UHF 23 to VHF 8.

I had intentions to post pictures of Blue Stem Falls. But, the falls weren't running due to draught, the path was washed out due to flooding a few months ago, and my falling trying to traverse said path. So, I'm home safe and a little sore.

Yes, I'm over 65 and signed up for Medicare with a great Advantage plan. I dispise seeing the Medicare emails with advice from Dr. Oz. I don't even read those, just mark as read.

If you are tired of NASCAR and/or F1, look up Sports Car Club of America on YouTube. There have already been two races recorded so far this year. These are not professional racers, the prize is a trophy and bottle of wine. And the broadcasters share no politics.

Filed my taxes today. US and OK. Getting very low four digits from US, due to the BUB (second word Ugly) mostly. Paying low three digits to OK.
The biggest problem I have is five retirement incomes. That screws up withdrawal calculations.

I remember before I retired the Wear Your Helmet to Work Day promotion, to raise awareness of autocross. So one day I did. Even fewer people spoke to me that day.

So the Oklahoma Governor wants to shut down Medical Marijuana in Oklahoma. Wants a state question to pass. Too bad the Republicans made state questions harder to pass.

In the USA, we don't need to bring prices down. We need increase minimum wages, and all wages. Decreasing prices is a Depression economy.

The IRS is f**ked up. If you want to do your taxes by hand, good luck. If you want forms, that tab on the web site now has a brief list of what they want you to see. There is no place left to get that long, searchable list.
