Yet we continue to claim capitalism is a far superior economic system. I must ask, for whom? Certainly not for average Americans. The top 5-10% are doing pretty well, tho. Is that how we measure success?

The DC shooting story is really getting to me because we literally trained this man as a child soldier for a death squad in a forever war and Stephen Miller et al want to blame it on other cultures? It's our culture, American culture, that killed that woman.

It's easy to say that stuff happening now is JUST a DISTRACTION. Cause it seems that way.
I personally feel that everything would have happened regardless of the files, but at a slower pace.
Calling these things distractions reduces their importance.

Good question. Wouldn't it be great if all these people who thought they could just sit it out actually showed up next year and helped make a difference?

As an atheist (who's also a bar mitzvah) the last thing I want is for religion to be "coming back". Fortunately, it's not. Just because Cheezlebub says it is doesn't make it so.
