Engineered myself a hand mod so i can draw while dealing with the arthritis. After some trial and error, it’s working pretty comfortably. It IS basically a strapon for my hand tho LOL i’m tryna make it compatible with more tools & maybe easier to get on and off ❤️

So an update:

If you don’t know, I’ve been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. It has almost completely disabled my drawing hand. It attacks my spine and sometimes takes out my left knee, too, but the main problem is my right hand. I have a lot of difficulty putting pressure behind a pencil and I gotta abuse NSAIDS to do ANY sort of trad drawing. Digital isn’t so bad right now so I’m trying to keep doing some sort of drawing, but the existential crisis of it all really weighs a lot. It’s been difficult to stay positive.

I started out on a med that didn’t do anything for me while we waited for my insurance to approve the biologic infusion. If you wanna know, it’s Simponi Aria. I got approved really recently and got my initial infusion date, but they can’t do it any sooner than mid-June.

I’ve basically run through my savings so I really need help. I’ve put an auto 25% off all prints and originals in the store. If you’ve ever wanted something from me & are able to help me out while I wait for my arthritis treatment, you’d be legit saving my ass, no joke.

If you can’t grab anything, a signal boost would honestly be just as good, just to get the message out there. Introduce me to yer friends and stuff lol. Asking for help is difficult but I can’t walk this one out solo.
