In the wild west, gunslingers utilize both the revolver and rifle. The lever action rifle (a winchester for example) can fire up to ~400 yards making it ideal for the outdoors. Whereas the revolver is smaller and used as a quick fire or taking potshots and can be drawn indoors.

The katanas are used for quick draws to kill the enemy and in actuality it does work in real life (although not as dramatic or action shot as in movies).

In the movies (and in real life), samurais usually carry two swords or Daishō as it is called. while it is used as a class status symbol, it was also practical as the longer sword (katana) is used outdoors while the smaller one is usesd indoors (kodachi). (cont.ed in next thread)

Just finished chapter 4 of #deltarune and there’s something that’s been bugging me.

Like people theorize that ch.5 will take place at the festival, but throughout all the chapters, the fountains only gets activated indoors (closet, rooms, etc.)

So how would it work outdoors?
