another year, another win for my (very vibes-based) "gotta play against the ball to win the Shield, gotta use the ball to win MLS Cup" theory
And against what are imo the truly elite teams in MLS this year — Vancouver, Miami, Nashville, LAFC, Seattle, Columbus (some of whom they didn’t face) — Philly went 0W-6L-2D with a -14 goal differential.
Even if you want to take away the Caps loss that’s still brutal. Ball-playing teams kill them.

Today's calendar change brought up some questions about Tata Martino, who originally signed a deal through the "2027 season"

MBS will be configured specifically for NWSL with a capacity of 28k
And the search to fill club leadership roles is already underway.
I imagine that search will move quickly. Eales had a few years of runway before ATLUTD
