To a degree - and social media is largely a cesspool. But extremism existed long before media.

I should have realized. Thanks. Problem is, she has a lot of followers who believe this nonsense.

Yes, quite. The church removed Jesus from his Jewishness for 1800s years. Since the 1950s there's been a serious attempt to put matters right but now there are worrying signs of the old attitudes returning. The far right and far left, as in so many things, seem to have come together on this.

Apparently our grandson (4 in January) has some imaginary monster friends. Last night he suddenly said, "Monster friends don't despair! I am here and can read to you."

The Nazi church in Germany did so, and that Jewish Paul corrupted his teachings. Odd really, in that it was Jesus himself - Jewish, Jewish, Jewish - who said the most compassionate and peaceful things, not Paul. Denying the Jewishness of Jesus has become an issue again I'm afraid. So sad.

For God's sake don't tell Candace Owens there's a statue of a Jewish man hiding behind her!

Laszlo Krasznahorkai wins Nobel prize for Literature! Family name was changed to the more Hungarian Krasznahorkai due to anti-semitism. “Our original name was Korin, a Jewish name. With this name, he would never have survived." Those Korins and Corens .....

You can support peace and justice for the Palestinians and still condemn the October 7 massacre as an obscene atrocity. Odd how so many people find this impossible. I wonder why ....

No idea what you mean but I think the kindest thing is to block you. I wish you well but I don't want a day of such tragedy to be treated thus. God bless but goodbye.

"Disappointing" to condemn the murder of Jewish people attending synagogue? Oh dear.

Let's see who condemns and who remains silent. These people were British Jews attending their place of worship on the holiest day of the year. And if anyone mentions Gaza we know their motives. Anti-semitism existed long, long before now.

I wasn't looking for examples of what I'd condemned but I do appreciate it. God bless.

L'shana tova to my Jewish friends and family. To those who call themselves Christian but dislike Jews (and they're especially vocal and influential at the moment) do remember that Jesus and his closest followers all celebrated Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets.
