New Yorker. Dad. Husband. Democrat. Running for Comptroller to make New York’s money work for the people. https://rajgoyle.com
When I launched Phone Free New York, we did it hand-in-hand with @governor.ny.gov and @nysut.bsky.social.

I'm so proud to see Governor Hochul prioritizing and continuing to lead on protecting our kids.

Now, our classrooms are getting back to collaboration, discussion, and learning.

ICE just abducted a NYC employee.

He was here legally, and they still took him.

As your next Comptroller, I will use every tool at my disposal to expose ICE’s abuses, divest our pension from groups supporting their lawlessness, and will work to get ICE the hell out of New York.

THANK YOU.

We raised $2.5+ million across 260 zip codes for an office the establishment doesn’t want you to know about.

Thanks to over 1700 donors, we’re building a statewide coalition that can take down a 20-year incumbent. Grateful for all your support.

Now, back to work.

Albany insiders are approving rate hikes that drive your utility bills up.

The State Comptroller should work to hold Con Ed accountable, but he's not doing it. As your next State Comptroller, that's exactly what I'll do.

Thanks Cenk Uygur and The Young Turks for having me on!

As your next State Comptroller, I’ll take steps to keep ICE the hell out of New York. Here's how:

1. I will ensure the pension fund is not being used to help ICE conduct its lawlessness.

2. I will use our audit power to expose to the public how ICE is conducting itself in NY.

This is horrifying, but it's not a surprise. It's what Trump is trying to do to blue states. Terrorize us.

We must ensure that our New York leaders are prepared and ready for when this arrives here in NY.

State government needs to oppose ICE lawlessness at every single turn.

For too long, corporations have taken advantage of New Yorkers by charging ridiculous junk fees and price gouging on essential items. I'm thrilled to see Mayor @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social is taking action against junk fees, and I'm ready to be the partner he needs at the NY state level.

Every fare hike hits working New Yorkers first. Before we ask riders to pay more, we need real answers about where MTA dollars are going.

That’s what the Comptroller is for.
December 23, 2025 at 2:05 PM
The Comptroller is supposed to be New York's financial watchdog.

It’s the job that follows the money, audits big state contracts, and calls out waste and abuse, so working New Yorkers don’t keep getting squeezed.

Right now, that oversight isn’t happening. And that’s a problem.
December 22, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Brad is the exact type of leader we need in Congress.

He's been fighting for his community for decades, even putting his body on the line. He works for all New Yorkers, not special interests.

I am so proud to support my friend @bradlander.bsky.social

Honored to be part of this slate alongside some incredible fighters for working families around the country.

I’m running to bring that same fight right here in New York – real accountability, real investment, and real power to everyday people.

Thank you, @rokhanna.bsky.social.

Your energy bill keeps climbing, and it’s not because you left the lights on.

The Comptroller should be NY’s financial watchdog, but that watchdog’s been asleep. No audits. No accountability.

I’m running for Comptroller to change that and protect New Yorkers.

Come by for a special comedy fundraiser with Kal Penn and some hilarious NY comedians on Monday, December 8th!

Politics doesn’t always have to be doomscrolling — sometimes it can be jokes, joy, and building community for a more affordable New York.

If your energy bill suddenly doubled… you’re not alone.

New Yorkers’ energy bills are skyrocketing with no clear explanation, so I let them know what’s really going on.

Spoiler: it’s not your AC.

New Yorkers are done footing the bill for Con Ed’s greed.

While data centers + big corporations get sweetheart deals, tenants, small businesses, and working-class families are drowning in rate hikes.

Join us at the protest! 6:30PM, Union Square✊⚡️

Always great seeing my friend @congressmanraja.bsky.social.

More than 1.2 MILLION New Yorkers are behind on their utility bills, owing up to $2.3 BILLION.

In parts of the state, energy bills have risen 25–35% since 2020.

Families are underwater while our current State Comptroller is asleep at the wheel. No more.

New York energy bills are out of control and no one’s been checking the math.

As Comptroller, I will use every ounce of power to audit the state’s role in these price hikes.

I'll create a Utilities Clawback Toolkit to protect ratepayers and return $$$ to New Yorkers' pockets.
November 17, 2025 at 7:15 PM
We need Democrats who stand up and fight for a more affordable future for everyone. As Comptroller, I will take the full power of the office to lower costs for every New Yorker.

Thanks @sarbetter.bsky.social and Capital Tonight for having me.
November 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM
There’s so much more that the state comptroller can do. We can invest in affordable housing here in New York. We can audit powerful companies that drive utility bills through the roof. We can fight to lower junk fees and elder scams.

Thanks @sarbetter.bsky.social and Capital Tonight!
November 14, 2025 at 11:09 PM
The New York State Comptroller could attack the housing crisis. It could help lower our utility bills. It could fight Trump's unchecked authoritarianism.

I was asked by @sarbetter.bsky.social on Capital Tonight why I'm running for New York State Comptroller.

Here's my answer:
November 14, 2025 at 9:43 PM
My friend Congressman @rokhanna.bsky.social is spot on.

The State Comptroller can be a strong check on corporate greed and rising costs. Cost of living is out of control, and the affordability crisis isn’t inevitable. It’s a policy choice.

We can choose differently.
November 12, 2025 at 5:38 PM
New Yorkers are tired of failed leaders, especially while we're getting fleeced by establishment officials.

That's why I’m running for New York Comptroller – to hold powerful companies accountable, to protect your money, and to fight for you.
November 11, 2025 at 2:31 PM
New Yorkers know their elected officials well. So why don't they know their state Comptroller?

The Comptroller is one of the most powerful people in New York – controlling billions and shaping our housing, childcare, and economy. It’s time to reclaim that power.
November 6, 2025 at 5:15 PM
While New Yorkers struggle with everyday costs and wages that don’t keep up, the current Comptroller has invested our state’s pension fund money in Florida & Chicago real estate.

I’m running for Comptroller to make sure our money is invested where it belongs, right here in New York.
