It was great to welcome students from UCL Department of Geography to the Society this morning as part of their Thinking Geographically module! 🙌

They heard talks in our Ondaatje Theatre, took part in workshop discussions, and explored the building on a self-guided tour with their tutorial groups.

Last week, ahead of #COP30, we hosted around 100 students from Harris Federation and United Learning for a model climate negotiation with @britishcouncil.bsky.social!

Students debated, deliberated policy, and reached an agreement to keep global heating between 1.5 and 2.0°C.
