Hadn’t realised until I saw this morning’s news that yesterday was Up Helly Aa. Reminded me of Little Joe🌈 as his Dad Joey’s🌈 registered name as Irton Up Helly Aa, so here’s a couple of pictures; Joey on the left posing for a picture after winning at a show & the two of them when they met in 2016 😃

Last #TerrierTuesday of January, which always involved a lot of time in cafes sheltering from winter. Little Joe 🌈 was always impeccably behaved & patient, but even LJ’s patience had limits 😀

Unforeseen car problems meant no #FellFoot #parkrun this morning, so ‘consoled’ myself with a run over #ArnsideKnott. With views from the top over to Ingleborough in one direction & the South Lakes fells in another, that’s a lot of consolation 🗻 😀

First time running over (rather than round) #ArnsideKnott in 2025. Zero confidence coming down the slopes (not sure the Knott counts as a hill to Cumbrians 😉), but at least it gives me something to build up from in 2026! 🏃‍♂️

Christmas Day morning was always spent on #ArnsideKnott with Litrle Joe🌈. So here he is two years ago today on the Knott & a picture of us toasting him today being both sad he’s no longer with us & grateful at the same time for all the times we shared with him x

Celebrated a second consecutive day of rest from the recent deluge with a walk up #Hampsfell. First time up there since losing the little fella, so sadness tinging views & atmosphere.
