That's all beloved stuff too. I love seeing what people come up with. I love that it's still popular.

But at the same time - I know people that literally make clone OCs of the main cast just to get to interact with the setting. Like it's unforgivable to actually engage and make something different

Like giving them different jobs, different universes, flipping story roles. It's all a rendition of the character. But It's not really canon. It's an "OC" that is unique to you and your brain.

So for every fic/art out there - it's another variation. Thousands of Catras, Adoras, and everyone else.

Feeling called out by Celeste's recent video on OCs...

I feel like I both understand why and at the same time, I completely don't get it.

If the canon cast and events were enough for us - Fan creations would not exist. So even fan art/fic are just OCs of the canon character.

a quick lil portrait I did to make sure I remembered how to do smooth lineart!!

A simple portrait of a sun-elven princess. Her hair is a radiant orange with an inner yellow, and she looks to the side with (heavily contrasting) bright blue eyes.
