Painted a Youko Kurama fox yesterday while working on commissions. I like to have a couple paintings going at once so I can work while one dries!

A few weeks ago, my right arm was mauled by a cat and I had to seek medical help. It took a week and a half before the swelling went down enough to use my hand - my wrist looked like a cankle!

I'm still dealing with stiffness and pain, but anyway, that's why I haven't been posting much.

Tested out some handmade papers by painting a Soft Bun.

Colors are a bit jacked because every photo I try to post from my phone turns out dark! Anyone else having this issue?

Are we doing #Junicorn?

The Karkadann is an unconventional unicorn out of Persian mythology. Though fierce-looking, it's a gentle enough creature that it allows birds to alight on its horn.

Done in Hydrus and Finetec gold watercolors
