It's important to remember that Trump’s special "peace envoy", Steve Witkoff, isn't just one of Trump's "former" business partners. He is the man helping Trump enrich himself through the Presidency as we speak. He is, quite literally, his partner in crime. On 16 September 2024, less than two months before the Presidential election, Trump launched World Liberty Financial. This was, essentially, a non-tradable crypto coin (the WLFI Token), with Trump owning 22.5% of this new coin reserves (as well as 75% of token sale revenue). This would be considered an extraordinary conflict of interest in any functional democracy. His business partner in this venture is Steve Witkoff. Witkoff's son, meanwhile, is understood to be the man who came up with the idea and runs the operation. The WLFI Token was always intended to become a tradable coin, but by pretending otherwise the company was able to avoid the coins being listed as a security and therefore covered by strict regulations on disclosures and audits. When it did "decide" to make the WLFI Token publicly tradable in September this year, it was fortunate enough to discover that the largest crypto exchange in the world, Binance, would be selling the coins immediately (rare for a new coin), potentially adding billions to coin's value. Less than a month later, the CEO and founder of Binance received a Presidential Pardon for serious money laundering charges... but it's OK, Trump assured reporters that he didn't even know who he was. The value of the WLFI Tokens owned by the Trump family are now valued at over $5 billion. Remember, he hasn't actually created anything, or provided a service to anyone, but he just made $5 billion from nothing, while he was the sitting President of the USA. .. and the best part, we don't really know who has been buying the coins to make them so valuable. We don't know who is making the Trump and Witkoff family rich. We know the UAE bought at least $100 million of them, but there are also million…

She was one of the first known female artists and one of the first women artists to establish an international reputation. Among female painters, she was unusual in that her father was a nobleman rather than a painter. Anguissola’s innovative self-portraits and family scenes challenged gender norms and inspired future generations of women artists. Even late in life, she continued painting and advising young artists. The eldest of seven siblings—six girls and one boy—Anguissola was born into a wealthy family. In 1546 both Sofonisba and Elena, his second daughter, were sent to board in the household of Bernardino Campi, a prominent local painter. They remained under instruction with Campi for three years until he moved from Cremona to Milan. Sofonisba continued her training with Bernardino Gatti, through whom she gained an appreciation of the work of Correggio. During this period of her life, through the influence of her father, she also received encouragement from Michelangelo, copying a drawing he sent her and sending it to him for his appraisal. While beginning to earn a living, Sofonisba also taught her sisters Lucia, Europa, and Anna Maria to paint. About 30 of her paintings from this period, including many self-portraits and the well-known Lucia, Minerva, and Europa Anguissola Playing Chess (1555), survived into the 21st century. Anguissola’s reputation spread, and in 1559 she was invited to Madrid, to the court of Philip II, where, in addition to painting portraits, she was an attendant to the infanta Isabella Clara Eugenia (later the archduchess of Austria) and a lady-in-waiting to Philip’s third wife, Elizabeth of Valois. Yesterday I went to see the musical #Suffs. I was not prepared for how emotional it made me. If you get a chance, it's a musical made for us activists.

Andrée Borrel (1919–1944) was a courageous French resistance fighter and one of the first female agents sent into Nazi-occupied France by Britain’s Special Operations Executive (SOE) during World War II. Known by the codename "Denise," she worked as a courier and organizer for the Prosper circuit, one of the most important resistance networks in France. Born near Paris, Borrel served as a nurse during the Spanish Civil War and later joined the French Red Cross during the Nazi invasion. Her resistance activities began with helping Allied soldiers escape France. After fleeing to England, she trained in espionage, sabotage, and parachuting before being dropped into France in 1942—just days after fellow agent Lise de Baissac. Borrel coordinated safe houses, arms drops, and sabotage missions, often under extreme danger. In June 1943, she was arrested by the Gestapo, imprisoned, and later deported to Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp. There, on July 6, 1944, she was executed by lethal injection and cremated—alongside fellow agent Sonia Olschanezky. Though only 24 at the time of her death, Andrée Borrel’s bravery, loyalty, and sacrifice left an enduring legacy. She was posthumously awarded the Croix de Guerre and Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). Today, she is remembered as one of the unsung heroines who risked everything to fight tyranny and protect freedom.
