I've finally done it. I've watched K-Pop Demon Hunters. And yeah, I understand the hype and say it's well worth the craze it's gotten. It's a great film, many of the song are bops. It was a pretty great time!

Back from my fortnightly DnD session. Down half my usual size group due to many irl factors, but those who showed up still had a heck of a time. Our DM did such a fun game and it gave me small courage to try & do bits more RP that I’ve always struggled with.

While I somewhat understand your point, with so many posting at the same time to counter the comments of one bad faith actor, while I'm sure their intent is good, it comes across as trying to capitalize on the situation. Again, I'd rather their actions speaks louder than their words.

If you are genuine in your message, speak with your actions, not your words. When you see minority VAs & friends struggling, be there for them. If they are trying to showcase their work, share their work for others to see.

As a Non-Binary Voice Actor who struggles to get work due to my queer identity, seeing many voice actors in the industry suddenly show support for people like me & other minorities, all at the same time, while a nice gesture, does come across as a bit opportunistic.

I'm not a big name in the VO scene, but as a Enby VA myself trying to get by when I can, it is beyond terrifying to be one of us right now in so many parts of the world right now. Seeing fellow colleagues come out & disregard people like me is truly disheartening.

Sorry I've not been super engaged on Bluesky lately, I've been super engrossed playing Hades 2 & Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds the past few days in between my IRL job/life & health management. I likely will be for the next few weeks, basically until Pokémon Legends: Z-A comes out.

Automatically insisting what someone’s gender identity SHOULD be (read: should NOT could) based on how they look/act is toxic as fuck. ESPECIALLY when you’re attacking the person who fought for actual YEARS for queer rep and had their show cancelled for it.

I made the decision to step away from many voice over projects I was part of recently due to my overall health & personal life taking unfortunate turns this year. I'll still commit some projects I am in + audition for occasional work & classes I have vast interest in. (1/2)

A common phrase gets thrown around in voice over that "auditioning IS the job" 🤔

I partially disagree.

It's part of the job, but it's really only a small part. I'm a full time voice actor, and I really only spend maybe 10% of my work time in the booth.

I tried to fix some things with my feed after looking it up (it look a bit of time), but it's still hasn't solved all of the issues I'm seeing with my following feed, only some. So I advice others do the same to their feeds if they may be having issues seeing the people they follow too.
