Just finished episode 481. This really has been such a cute and heartwarming story to follow. I didn't think I'd get hooked with Naruto but the first ep was all it took. I love everyone in Naruto.

I'm putting Naruto/Shippuden in my top 5.

Perk of being child-free: the cat gets all the fun shit without hesitation. Costco had a cat scratch warehouse that I practically threw into my cart.

He a lil too chonky for it but he likes it so far.

The lack of spatial awareness from some of these mfs triggers my emotional dysregulation something FIERCE. And that’s WITH my adhd meds.

I've been reading up on CR stuff and I would have canceled my sub over it too.

Doooo it! I sail the seas and I do the same thing where I'll buy for the content I really like instead (aka me avoiding gunpla lol). I save sooo much money with no subs now.

I feel like such a dingus. I first saw the Blues Brothers when I was a kid (aka 90s) so my memory of it is fuzzy but I thought it was 'serious' back then.

I rewatched it tonight and I was so fucking befuddled that Carrie Fisher just blasted an RPG. No shit, it's a comedy. I'm a fucking idiot.

Yessss, be free of subs! I canceled all of mine 2yrs ago. I didn't want to deal with htpc/plex, so I went with Stremio. It's been AMAZING having all content in one app vs spread across.

(And I def have been blowing said saved money on manga 😅)

And honestly my bsky usage is so much more like 2006 Twitter. I just posted goofy shit without caring about aesthetics or having a huge following.

I've setup bksy to only be about my hobbies because I just want stuff that's engaging and carefree. I need some fkn comfort okay lol

With the exception of bsky and reddit (mainly /r/anime, /r/boru), I've managed to cut myself from almost all other social media. Going on a year of no FB, IG, Twitter.

It's sooo nice being disconnected from that hellscape. Now I visit niche community services like it's the 00s again.

And someone from surg tech let me know they will def have some openings for non-cert so hopefully that can be an option for me. 🤞

???? I was replying to someone specifically about why [most] anime have subtitles that don't match the dubbed audio, ya dingus.

This is not specific to CR. It's a general comment.

[eng] dubtitles are usually the original [eng] subtitles as the dubbing is more lip-syncing forward than exact 1:1 matching of subtitle. There are some studios that redo subtitles to match dubbed audio.

Closed captioning is also extremely different from subtitles.

I do love filler :3 But Shipp’s has been kinda ass in the 2nd half. I think Naruto filler was way better and much more fun.

Ha, I have resisted the model kits but they call to meeee. I got sucked into watching painting vids for them and it looks like so much fun.

Currently on ep 453? or so. So close but the filler makes it feel like foreeever.

And since I've been binging it, the amount of recaps and reusing of old content is insane. But I still love everyone <3

Fall didn't feel like it had much going for it. Spy x Family, Gachiakuta, and Ranma 1/2 are the only ones I've got on my cal.

But I've also been blasting through Shippuden. Gundam is next on my list! :D

Goddamn Naruto truly has some beautiful character development. I've got 1/4 of Shippuden left to watch--almost done with the Obito storyline.

I'll even forgive the Mecha Naruto Stark episode I watched.

I've had so much fun relearning and working with html/css/js for a personal site rather than professional/corp.

It's giving me joy like when I was a teenager. What do you mean I spent 10hrs searching the web for every and any sailor moon pixel I could find. Ended the day with ~1700 files found lol.

I'm a newcomer and have been binging ALL of it and.. honestly I've laughed so hard at a ton of the Naruto and Shippuden filler. And I've gotten through 356eps of the latter so far.

The cat village was so unexpected, meow.
