I discussed with the police the @rmtunion.bsky.social's serious concerns about the increase in assaults on our railway

This is at the same time as the British Transport Police's funding has been cut

We need more investment in this vital public service

The two-child cap and rape clause were heinous Tory policies

It should not have taken more than a year and the suspension of seven Labour MPs before the government scrapped it

This morning I joined students, lecturers, trade unionists and @richardleonardmsp.bsky.social at Alloa Campus and spoke about how important it is that our college in Clackmannanshire is saved and receives the funding it deserves.

The Scottish Government must fund further education properly.

Thousands of families have had their funeral savings taken from them

Meanwhile greedy directors have looted £3 million in dividends

@paulsweeney.bsky.social and I will hold the Minister to account on his commitment

After speaking to families affected by the CMutual funeral policy scandal outside Parliament, I joined them inside as they questioned the Minister about what the Government is going to do to help them
November 19, 2025 at 4:35 PM
It's hard to think of a more callous act than to take away people's funeral savings in this way

Every MSP should be shouting about this until we get justice for all the families who are affected

We have a Labour government trying to build an economy on the arms trade and the nuclear menace

An inhumane, uneconomic militarisation that will drive us towards more wars

Absolutely no guarantees from the Scottish Government that they won’t support a P&O Ferries model!
Our thanks to @richardleonardmsp.bsky.social for asking about seafarer jobs and new direct roll-on, roll-off ferry services for passengers and freight between Scotland and Europe.
November 13, 2025 at 12:56 PM
The return of an international ferry from Rosyth is a good idea but we must not see a repeat of P&O sacking 800 seafarers by video message
